Route 1: Ancient Delphi Trail and treasure hunt game at the Oracle of Delphi

After you've had a nutritious breakfast, we definitely recommend walking towards Delphi.

This walk is wonderful from the beginning as you will have the chance gaze at the view but it is also quite challenging. Firstly, you will have to walk up the stairs and then follow a path until you reach the Stairs of Delphi: the ancient path from the Oracle of Delphi to the Cave of Andron Koryki. It is up to you to walk as much as you want and you can always  return by taking the same path back until you reach a point where you will have to follow a different path to reach Delphi.The farther you go, the more fascinating the landscape and the views of the Ancient site, Mount Parnassos and the Gulf of Corinth become.

If you prefer not to walk, you can visit the archaeological site of the Oracle of Delphi with your family or friends to play "treasure hunt" using the text provided in the ActiveNAV App. Of course, you can do both.

Before your departure, the hostess of the accommodation will provide you with instructions and recipes for local cuisine, including kelemia (stuffed onions), homemade pies and local sweets. You will also have the opportunity to taste chutneys, jams, liqueurs and pastries made by her, which you can take with you.
